Alan Griffiths stayed loyal to the Club following the closure of Parkside and was integral to its resurrection as New Hunslet at the Greyhound Stadium.
Alan was an attack minded loose forward with an eye for a try, scoring 16 tries in the 76/77 season which earned him a call up to the Yorkshire team the following season.
