First Time Fan

If you’ve got tickets to your first game, or you’re considering it, we’ve put some information on what to expect on your visit to the South Leeds Stadium.

Finding the South Leeds Stadium and parking
The home of Hunslet RLFC is the South Leeds Stadium which is situated within the John Charles Centre for Sport. The stadium capacity is 3450.  You can get directions by clicking here.

Parking is free, the main car park is situated across from the Stadium complex and the entrance is to the right of the small roundabout as you approach the stadium from Dewsbury Road.

Gaining access to the match
The club office / shop is situated behind the stadium reception, to access this area make your way through the main double doors. If you have pre-booked tickets, make your way to the club office / shop to collect your tickets. The main turnstiles are situated on the south side of the Stadium adjacent to the Phoenix Suite.

Bars
On arrival at the Stadium most fans first port of call is the Phoenix Bar, Hunslet RLFCs’ official supporters bar. All fans are welcome in this bar, and no membership is required. To get to the Phoenix Bar follow the signs outside the Stadium.  The bar is open from 12.00 noon on Sundays until kick-off, including half time and then from the final whistle till late.

Doors open an hour before kick off

Seating
Seating is non reserved.

Refreshments
There is a refreshments kiosk on the top tier concourse which has a range of drinks, snacks, as well as hot food like burgers, hot dogs and pies. There is also a bottle bar a on the top tier concourse “Goldthorpes Bar”.

Merchandise
We run a club shop on match days that sells replicas, Hunslet teamwear, t-shirts, hoodies. Cash and card payments are accepted.

Half Time Raffle
There is a half time raffle, tickets can be purchased from our volunteers who will be in the Phoenix Suite.

Disabled Facilities

THE South Leeds Stadium has facilities for disabled supporters, offering a good vantage point for you to enjoy the action from.

Furthermore, we have a large amount of disabled car parking available on site, meaning only a short trip from vehicles to your place in the ground.

Away supporters wishing for more information or to secure admission are kindly asked to contact the Hunslet Office – by emailing info@hunsletrlfc.com  or calling 0113 2712730 by noon on Wednesday prior to the day of a game in order to ensure your request can be handled appropriately.

Disabled supporters wishing to attend Hunslet RLFC matches on a match-by-match basis must pay the full and appropriate admission charge, according to age for which the application is made.

They will be entitled to a free ‘Carer Ticket’ for any match for which they pay an admission charge. To be eligible for the free ‘Carer Ticket’ you must bring relevant proof that you are in receipt of a Carer Component in the Disability Living Allowance for each match attended.

The above also applies to away supporters. Appropriate proof of disability must be included if applying in advance to the South Leeds Stadium. We advise away supporters to book their tickets in advance of the fixture date on 0113 271 2730.

Disabled supporters should currently be in receipt of either the Higher-Medium rate Mobility or Higher Care Components of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) OR P.I.P.

Disabled Supporters will also need to submit copies of the DLA or PIP.
