Trevor Thurlwell, a lifelong Hunslet fan sadly passed away on Saturday 31st July due to ill health. Over recent years Trevor had been unable to attend games in person, but throughout the years of Hunslet playing at Parkside and Elland road heโd be there through rain and shine with his 2 nephews in tow supporting the boys home and away. He especially loved mid winter freezing cold games up on Mount Pleasant vs Batley!
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him – RIP Trevor.
The Club will be paying their respects to Trevor, and other members of the Hunslet Family we have lost over the last year, at the final home game of the season.
Uncle Trevor was Always a true hunslet fan when we travelled home and away in the 70’s & 80’s and made me as his nephew fall in love with Hunslet RL as a 6 Yr old and to this day as a 50 Yr old watching Hunslet at the dog track and mount pleasant etc through the years god bless Trevor.
