Head Coach Dean Muir has wasted no time in starting to put his squad together for the Parksiders upcoming 2025 Championship season.

The first confirmed retention is popular forward Harvey Hallas. The 26 year old will play in his 6th season with the club and will be pivotal in Hunslet’s go forward against much tougher opposition.

“Harvey has been really solid this year, his best games were in the play-offs proving he is Championship quality. He’s a great person and a leader in this group.” said Muir.

Harvey said “It was an easy decision to stay at the club. We’ve created a special group, from the players all the way through into the backroom staff. Everyone loves an underdog story, and we will go into the Championship as underdogs but we are planning on causing more upsets in 2025.”

Hallas played 21 games in the Parksiders promotion winning season and scored 2 tries (including a late winner at Rochdale).

Hunslet fans that sing Hallas’s name will be delighted to see Harvey back on board for 2025 as Hunslet look to cement a place in the Championship.
