Hunslet have secured Hull KR forward Zach Fishwick on an initial two-week loan deal. The 19-year-old prop made his Super League debut for Rovers in 2022 and made seven appearances that season, but hasn’t featured since the arrival of Willie Peters.
Fishwick has featured in reserve grade and the Championship, playing for Featherstone Rovers, and Bradford Bulls in 20204.
Zach will bring size and power to a Hunslet pack who are currently without, Matty Fletcher, Brad Clavering and Keelan Foster, who are all on the treatment table.
Dean Muir commented: “We are delighted to bring in a player of Zach’s quality. He’s big and offers punch in the middle.
“He suits our playing style and will be invaluable with us having a number of middles out.”
Zach, will go straight into contention for Sunday’s Betfred Championship opener away at Barrow.

Sounds good, any extra players that can assist the club going forward can only be to our advantage
