As we all know too well the cost of living is rising at the moment and the Club is not immune to that. However, your continued support coupled with our financial prudence over the last few years puts us in a relatively healthy position to ride out this storm in 2023. I’d like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for that on behalf of the Club.
Thanks go especially to Jason Peterkin at 247 Blinds and lifelong supporter Tony Levison, whose further financial backing means we have even managed to increase our playing budget for the new season. Our Head Coach Alan Kilshaw is confident he has pulled together an experienced and talented squad that will challenge strongly for promotion.
Once again we are holding our Membership and Season ticket prices for the new season. However, as a Board we cannot underestimate the challenges that lay ahead, and, as such, we continue to seek additional financial backing. To that end, if you are aware of any contacts who may be able to offer additional financial support, or sponsorship, to the Club then please get in touch.
We have 10 home league games and it would be fantastic if we could have a Match Ball sponsor (£100) and Match Sponsor (from £500) in place for each one. We also have Player Sponsorships, both Individual and Corporate available from £240 and £300 respectively, together with a range of Playing Kit Sponsorship packages from £500.
If you would like further details on any of the above then please email our Finance Director phil.hodgson@hunsletrlfc.com or give him a call on 07964 087910.
There is a lot going on in the game at the moment and everyone involved at the Club remains as determined and committed as ever to ensure the name of Hunslet will continue to play its part. If we all pull together we can make it happen.
I look forward to seeing you all down at South Leeds Stadium in 2023 for what will be an exciting season of Rugby League. In the meantime, although it may be a little bit early, may I also wish you all a Happy Christmas and a fantastic New Year.
And so we shall again.
Kenny
