Hunslet RLFC are delighted to announce the signing of Bradford Bulls young reserve star Lewis Hagan.

The talented 23-year-old centre joined the Bradford Bulls Reserves squad from Oulton Raiders for the 2025 season and was voted as the Bulls Reserve Coach’s Player, and Players Player for the season after an outstanding debut season at Odsal.

Lewis started his Rugby league journey at the age of three with “Rocky’s Giants” under the stewardship of local legend Rocky Whitehead. He came through the Oulton youth system before becoming a regular in the Oulton Raiders open age side.

He is the grandson of former Hunslet player Kevin Bew and the great nephew of Hunslet legend Alan Preece.

Lewis commented: “I cant wait to get going at Hunslet. It’s a club steeped in history, and I have family ties at the club.

“To follow in their footsteps means a great deal to me and I can’t wait to get started and rip into pre-season.

“I am excited to meet the lads and looking forward to getting going and hopefully having a great season and showing the fans what I can do.

Kyle Trout commented: Lewis is a young and hungry to for an opportunity to play first team rugby, following an impressive season playing for the Bradford Bulls reserves.

“Lewis will bring great utility value and provide competition for places in the outside backs. He is a great athlete and very professional in what he does, and we are looking forward to seeing him rip into pre-season.”
