Hunslet have snapped up former Leeds Academy, Bradford and Cornwall winger Coby Nichol for the 2025 Championship Season.
The 21 year old has impressed on loan to Cornwall from Bradford scoring 7 tries over the last 2 Seasons.
“Coby was someone we wanted at the back end of last year, and to finally get him is great for the club.” said Head Coach Dean Muir.
“He is a winger who carries well in yardage and knows his way to the try line. A local lad who buys into what we are doing. He wants to improve and be part of what we are creating.”
Coby commented “Hunslet are a well respected team. The Club is hungry for success and the team have a never say die attitude. When I had the opportunity to join, it was something I couldn’t say no too.”
Nichol, who comes from Halifax showed Hunslet fans his pace earlier in the season chasing a kick to the corner to score a fine try for Cornwall at the South Leeds Stadium.
Hunslet fans hope that pace will cause Championship defences a headache next season as he dons the ‘Myrtle, white and flame’ of Hunslet.
