Our sponsors for Sunday’s game were All Things Fire and Security, who were keen to shine the spotlight on the great work of the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.
Security Director, and Hunslet Non-Exec Director, Tom Broadbent commented “I’m proud to sponsor Hunslet RLFC’s Superhero Day. The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation raises vital funds for research, offers grants and support to families affected, and builds awareness so that no one faces this alone”.
Tom and the Club are encouraging supporters to continue to play their part in a number of ways. Sunday’s match worn shirts are available to buy online, with all proceeds going to the Foundation.
For those not making the trip to Newcastle of Saturday 6th June come and join us in playing your part in beating MND and supporting those that suffer from this terrible disease.
Over 1000 people are expected to join the walk that covers over 340 miles and takes in over 45 rugby and football grounds.
Whether you do the full 340 miles or the 2 miles from South Leeds Stadium to Leeds United’s Elland Road Stadium you can help make a difference. (arrive at 2.15pm).
