2011 at Oldham, four new players made their first Hunslet appearances:-
Richie Barnett played his first game for Hunslet on the wing. Over three seasons Richie made 71 appearances and scored 29 tries. He was also a Jamaican international.

Forward Richard Blakeway made the first of his 31 appearances. He had previously represented National League Under 21s against Super League Under 21s.

Andy Yates signed initially from St. Helens and later on dual-registration from Leeds. In five seasons he played 84 games and scored 13 tries.

To make up the quartet, Joe McLocklan came off the bench to make the first of his 44 games. He scored 4 tries, 4 goals and a drop goal.

In 2000 at home to Hull Kingston Rovers, Ben Skerrett was on duty in the first of his 53 matches. He scored his sole try in a heavy defeat at Oldham.

One of the players to represent Hunslet at both Union and League was Billy Eno. Signed from Holbeck in 1894, he was a member of the Yorkshire Senior Competition winning team in 1897/98. After 78 appearances and 5 tries he returned to Holbeck.

Back in 1892, forward Jack Rathmell and three-quarter Albert Goldthorpe were at Birkenhead assisting Yorkshire in their match against Cheshire. Captain Goldthorpe kicked 2 goals but Yorkshire went down 12-13.
