It’s been another busy year for the Community Team and I’d like to say a huge thank you to Ian, Pat, Richard, Louise, Pablo, Martin and Lee – for everything they have done throughout the year.
A tremendous amount of work goes on behind the scenes to ensure Hunslet continues to be much more than simply what happens on the pitch.
From arranging our curtain raisers and giving young (and old) players the opportunity to play at the South Leeds Stadium, to supporting summer festivals and community events across South Leeds, the team have represented the Club brilliantly.
They have also continued to support our various Heritage projects, helping us celebrate and preserve the history of a club that has been part of this community for generations.
Most of this work is done quietly, voluntarily and without seeking recognition, but it makes a real difference to the Club and the communities we represent.
So, to Ian, Pat, Richard, Louise, Pablo, Martin and Lee – thank you for your time, enthusiasm and commitment throughout 2026.
There is plenty more we want to achieve but for now, you can all be proud of what we have achieved together this year.
