Congratulations to Mark Hodgkinson and everyone involved in Cross Flatts Parkrun on breaking the 100 barrier on their 1st anniversary.

Harry the Hawk and community director Peter Todd joined 111 other runners to participate in the 5km run which takes place every Saturday morning in Beeston.

As ever Harry proved a big hit encouraging runners, posing for photographs and handing out discount tickets for our match against the London Skolars.

Hawks director Phil Hodgson, who is a regular volunteer at the run commented “A big thank you to Harry and Peter for coming along and supporting the anniversary celebrations. Getting involved with community events like this is what we are all about.ย  It helps to raise the profile of the club and fits with our commitment to encourage the people of South Leeds to get active and stay fit”.
