Since taking control of the club the board have been working hard to improve the match day experience for our fans, opposition fans, new customers, sponsors and corporate members. In recent times this has included:
• Improved hospitality experience for our sponsors and corporate members
• New scoreboard
• Improved sponsorship and customer signage around the Stadium
• Removal of the spiral staircase in the Phoenix Bar
• Re-decoration and re-furbishment of the Phoenix Bar
• Installation of real ale in the Phoenix Bar
• Increased range of alcohol products in the Phoenix Bar
• Re-vamped the Match Day Programme
• Introduced the new ‘I AM HUNSLET’ membership packages with a range of benefits
• After match speeches / Man of the Match award / Champagne moment presentations
• Replacement seats in the top tier of the stand enabled through the close working relationship with Leeds City Council
I’m now pleased to announce that in addition to the above we have continued to work closely with the John Charles Centre for Sport management team to explore additional partnership working opportunities that will help further increase the match day experience whilst providing the potential to increase business profitability for both parties.
So, I am delighted to announce that this season we will:
• Open the Dug Out Bar regularly on most match days to provide additional seating and bar service
• Provide an improved and increased range of hot food from the upper concourse of the Stadium
• For the first time provide alcohol for sale from the upper concourse of the Stadium
I can assure you that the club will benefit financially from all of these initiatives and we would encourage you to utilise them. Together we can make the ‘Hawks Match Day Experience’ the envy of others.”
