Hunslet RLFC are inviting applications for the position of Head Coach for the 2024 Season. This is a part time position that will report directly to the CEO. This offers an exciting opportunity for the right individual to coach high performing team and work with a progressive Board, helping to influence and grow the Club, and the wider business, across the sport and in the local community.

Job Role

  • Management of Coaching staff.
  • Management of playing budget.
  • Squad recruitment and contract negotiations.
  • Planning, delivery and evaluation of all training and game day activity.
  • Game analysis and feedback to playing squad.
  • Individual development of players and coaching staff.
  • Monthly Board updates.
  • Support for wider Club projects and Board directives.
  • Building relationships with key Club personnel and other stakeholders.
  • The ability to project a positive image of the Club to people at all levels.
  • Handle Press and media responsibilities as required.
  • Attendance at fan forums and Club Events.
