IMG Grading Score 2024 – Update from CEO Neil Hampshire
I can today announce that our Club Grading score is as follows:
RANK | CLUB | SCORE | GRADE |
28 | HUNSLET RLFC | 6.98 | Grade C |
Analysis and previous year comparison
Pillars | 2024 | 2023 |
FANDOM | 2.25 | 2.05 |
PERFORMANCE | 0.5714 | 0.46 |
FINANCE | 1.75 | 1.75 |
STADIUM | 0.6563 | 0.68 |
COMMUNITY | 1.75 | 2 |
Total | 6.98 | 6.94 |
I won’t dwell on this as our dissatisfaction with this process is well documented and we will continue to oppose it. Last year we were ranked 29th. Grade B scores are from 7.50 to 14.99 and Grade A scores from 15 to 20.
Differences are as follows:
Fandom:
Score increased due to improved social media performance. A big thanks to the social media team: Gaz Evans, Ian Pickles, Phil Hodgson, Dave Vincent Smith, our superb photographer Craig Irvine and Scott Johnson for Hunslet TV.
Performance:
Increased due to securing the play-off final win.
Finance:
No difference.
Stadium:
Virtually no difference.
Community:
Score decreased due to parting company with the Hunslet Rugby Foundation due to irreconcilable differences. We are liaising with the RFL around the set-up of a new foundation in 2025.

“So we Shall Again”
IMG utter madness, thanks for calling it out.
Superleague dominated and to hell with the rest!
Time for the Championship and League 1 to break away taking the Challenge Cup with them.
