Alan Kilshaw’s recruitment fund for 2023 has been given a timely boost thanks to a kind donation from lifelong supporter Tony Levison. Tony, who started going to Parkside in 1967 has reacted to the “stick or twist” dilemma mentioned at the recent supporter Q&A. “I fully understand the balance the Board has to get between ensuring sustainability for the Club and releasing enough funds for the Coach. Hopefully my donation goes some way to easing this conundrum”.
Chairman Kenny Sykes commented “Tony has donated a significant amount to the Club over the last 2 years which has provided us with a level of stability. His latest donation allows us a bit more breathing space so we have earmarked it for Alan’s recruitment drive”.
Tony added “Kenny and the Board of volunteers do a sterling job in running the Club. It can be a thankless task at times and I am keen to show my support. I hope this will encourage others with Hunslet at heart to do the same”.
