As well as producing high-quality photos to drive our impressive social media stats, Club photographer Craig Irvine is also taking the time to bring on the next generation of snappers.
Craig explained: “The Club had a request from Zac Berg, a pupil at Cockburn School, to gain some work experience in sports photography for his CCSE course. Zac’s family are all Hunslet supporters and his brother is one of our Ball Crew, so we were delighted to help.”
“I’ve been impressed with Zac’s technical knowledge and his appetite to learn. Being around the players in a training environment can be a daunting proposition for some, but he has taken to it well. He’s made a great start, and I’m looking forward to mentoring him when the season starts.”
Craig is a volunteer at Hunslet, and, along with the rest of the Media team, has put in countless hours to ensure our profile has remained high through the close season. “The engagement figures have been tremendous and show what can be achieved when we all pull together. We are enjoying producing material and hope the supporters enjoy seeing it, and thanks to everyone for the Likes and Shares.”
