Hunslet have signed former Leeds Academy, Keighley and Batley Forward Joe Gibbons for the 2025 Season.
The 21 year old former Wetherby Bulldogs man is son of former Leeds Rhinos star David Gibbons and brother of former Hunslet man Dave.
“I’m over the moon to have signed with Hunslet.” Said Gibbons.
“When Dean got in touch about potentially signing and seeing the success he had with the squad last year it was a no brainer.
“I can’t wait to get stuck into pre-season with the lads and hopefully contribute all I can to the club being a success in the championship.”
Another young and hungry talent added to the ranks at South Leeds Stadium shows the Parksiders are looking to the future and Head Coach Dean Muir thinks he’s made another shrewd signing.
“Joe is a great person to have on-board. He brings quality into the group and i’m excited to see what he can bring us on the field in 2025.
“He works really hard and his best Rugby is yet to come, hopefully that will be at Hunslet.”
