Head Coach Barry Eaton and the Hawks players showed their support for local toddler Skye Sutcliffe as they stayed on after training to join the bone marrow register. A team of volunteers led, by Skye’s grandma Amelia, set up stall in the Phoenix and took cheek swabs from the lads.
Skye was diagnosed with 2 forms of cancer last year and against all the odds is now in remission. The family have done much to raise awareness of the need for bone marrow donors and the Hawks are proud to support their work.
You can see the lads registering on Made in Leeds at 6pm and 9pm tonight.
