Hunslet have swooped to sign former Doncaster utility forward Ross Whitmore adding more quality to Dean Muir’s 2024 Parksiders.
The former Huddersfield Academy man who has also had a spell in Rugby Union has been at Doncaster for the last three seasons making 43 appearances and scoring 3 tries.
The 23 year old has experience at the top end of League 1 which Dean Muir and his team will find invaluable.
Whitmore says he “likes to get at the big men when they are tired, being mobile around the ruck” and therefore could be a good option off the bench.
Having played in this league for three seasons and at academy level with many of his team mates he knows what kind of team he is coming to, and after speaking to Dean Muir he was convinced to join for the 2024 season.
