Hunslet RLFC had a comfortable 10-72 win over West Wales Raiders at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli yesterday (22 June 2019).
A first half hat trick from Gareth Potts put Hunslet in the driving seat, with two from Jack Lee and one each from Jimmy Watson and Reece Dean completing the first half scoring. 0-40 at half time.
West Wales were first to score in the second period when new signing Robert Matamosi scored.
But is was back to business for the Parksiders as Vila Halafihi and Ben Heaton scored two tries a piece. Adam Robinson and Nathan Chappell also scored and Reece Dean kicked 10 goals on the day to take the Hunslet points total to 72.
Matamosi had the last say with a consolation try.

The win takes Hunslet back to second spot in League 1, one point ahead of Newcastle Thunder and London Skolars. Newcastle provide Hunslet’s next challenge when they vist South Leeds on Sunday 7 July.
