It was a clean sweep for Billy Jowitt at Saturdays end of season awards. Billy won Coaches Player, Supporters Player and Players Player of the season, in an outstanding first season at the South Leeds Stadium. Billy played in every game of the season, playing 27 games, and was top try scorer with 10 tries and also kicked 28 goals.
The Clubs volunteer ‘media team’ won the prestigious ‘Geoff Gunney’ award at the end of season awards night. The award was given to the team following our social media metrics improving from 800k in 2024 to 2.9 million in 2025.
Head of Comms and Media Gareth Evans said: “This is great recognition for our team of volunteers who have given so much of their own time over the last 12 months to promote the Club across our social media channels. The majority of Clubs in our league employ full time media staff on very good salaries, which makes it challenging for us to keep up with the pace as volunteers, but we want to build on this great performance into 2026 and beyond and are looking for support through sponsorship to help us go to the next level.
