A message from CEO Neil Hampshire:

“Like most clubs, we have had to increase our prices this year to reflect the additional home fixture and rising costs. We realise that these are difficult times for us all, and that includes the Club, where our running costs are not immune from the current economic situation.  This is the first rise since the introduction of our memberships 5 years ago. Hopefully that helps to demonstrate how we have tried to absorb those rising costs internally to minimise the impact on our loyal supporters.

“The membership packages are the ones which provide the Club with regular monthly income whilst also allowing you to support us, as well as receive a range of benefits in return. This year we have split the Watson membership into two distinct packages, Game day and Hospitality to provide more choice. We have also taken the decision to remove the “King” and “Watson” family packages. This is because our customers can get a better deal by utilising the Tricel offer, and we wanted to make sure people were aware of and taking advantage of that. Finally, we have also made the decision, in line with many other Rugby League clubs, to link our age qualifications for concession season tickets with the state pension qualification. That means individuals will need to be 66 years of age or older to qualify.

“These have not been easy decisions to take , but we have tried to absorb as much of our increased overheads as possible in determining these prices. We still feel that they offer very good value for money compared to many of our competitors as they include:

  • Seated viewing.
  • Free Car Parking.
  • Access to stadium bars.

“The practicalities of increasing monthly payments for existing members is not without challenge.  For those paying by bank transfer we request you adjust your mandate to reflect the increased payment. For those who set up their membership online there is no further action for ‘King’ and ‘Ex Player’ Members as the updates will be done automatically. Watson Members will be contacted individually.”
