Head Coach Dean Muir has named his squad for Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Championship side Barrow Raiders.
Having played behind closed doors against Featherstone, Hull KR and York, the Parksiders will make the long journey up to Craven Park to play for the first time this season in front of paying spectators.
Muir said “Hunslet haven’t travelled so well in the past and we would like to know why, the trip to Barrow provides a difficult test mentally and physically and it’s a good challenge”.
The game will have unlimited subs and Muir said “The starting 17 for next week’s 1895 Cup game v Featherstone won’t play the full 80 minutes”.
Ben Sheils (Hip Flexor) and Donald Kudangirana (ACL) will miss the game, whilst sadly Hunslet have had to say goodbye to former Salford forward Rhys Davies who has retired from the game.
Squad in full: Billy Gaylor, Jimmy Watson, Jack Coventry, Aidan Scully, Josh Jordan Roberts, Iwan Orr, Dan McGrath, Jack Render, Jude Ferreira, Matty Beharrell, Harry Williams, Toby Everett, Harvey Hallas, Aaron Levy, Jordan Syme, Michael Knowles, Ross Whitmore, Lewis Wray, Ethan O’Hanlon, Alfie Goddard, Jack Mallinson, Cam Berry
