Hunslet RLFC are pleased to announce the loan capture of young Hull FC winger Joe Ward.

19-year-old Ward arrived at Hull FC in 2023, joining the club’s Academy. He became a part of the first-team squad ahead of the 2025 campaign.

Joe, plays as a winger, with strong backline carries and neat footwork being some of his key attributes. He made his Hull FC debut in a Challenge Cup Round Three victory over York Acorn in February 2025.

A brace from Joe helped the Black & Whites on their way to claiming victory in the Reserves Championship Hull Derby at the weekend.

Dean Muir commented “He gives us a good yardage carry and he knows his way to the try line. He trains hard, is a good professional and understands our expectations and standards. We are looking forward to working with him. We know he has his own goals and it’s our job as staff to help him achieve them.”

Joe goes straight into contention for Sunday’s home clash with Barrow Raiders.
