Hunslet RLFC are pleased to announce a two-year contract extension to the end of 2026 for Head Coach Dean Muir.
CEO Neil Hampshire said “This has been Dean’s first professional Head Coach role and we feel he has adapted really well. His coaching ability, enthusiasm, and attention to detail have been impressive.
“He’s a well respected young coach who has bought into what we are trying to build here and remains keen to continue learning and improving. We are happy to support him in that.
“Dean will now focus the team on finishing as high as possible in the league this year and then see how we progress through the play-offs.
“Alongside that, Dean also has a clear view of his squad for 2025, and the process of retention and recruitment will now start to gain momentum.”
Dean responded โI am proud to continue to lead this famous club. Itโs important we keep building for the future, however we need to challenge each week to finish as high up the table as possible.
“I will keep working hard and with the support of the board and the staff I know we will make this a success.โ
