Hunslet RLFC are delighted to announce the signing of Jamaican International winger Mo Agoro.
Mo, 31, who had a previous spell at the South Leeds Stadium in the 2015 and 2016 seasons, has signed a two-year contract with the Parksiders, keeping him in South Leeds until the end of 2027.
A flying winger with an eye for a length of the field try, Mo has been a prolific try scorer wherever he has played. He most recently made himself a crowd favourite at Oldham over the past two seasons, scoring 25 tries in 24 appearances, averaging more than a try a game in their 2024 title-winning season.
Mo was also named Betfred League One top try scorer in 2022, scoring an impressive 28 tries for Keighley Cougars.
Mo will bring genuine pace and experience to the Hunslet backline in 2025 and is sure to be a massive hit with the supporters once again.
Kyle Trout was secured to get his man; “Mo is the ultimate professional and athlete. We are excited to have his qualities both as a player and a person in our environment for the next two seasons.
“Mo will help us to cultivate standards and will set an example for the rest of the squad to follow. He is physical, fast and determined. I look forward to seeing him in the famous Myrtle and Flame shirt once again.”
Mo commented; “From the moment I spoke to Kyle I could see the ambition he had for the club going forward.
“Coming back to Hunslet feels like the right move, and I am looking forward to showing what I can do and hopefully bring some success back to the club over the next couple of years.
“Hunslet is a club with a strong identity and a passionate following, who are always vocal and get behind the team. I have experienced that before, and I can’t wait to be part of it again.”
