Hunslet RLFC are delighted to announce the signing of promising young prop forward Will Wilson on a 12-month contract ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The powerful front-rower moves to the South Leeds Stadium following a standout development period in the Hull F.C. system, where he progressed through the Academy and featured heavily in the senior reserve grade setup. Known for his physical presence, direct running, and formidable work rate down the middle of the park, Wilson adds significant size and youthful hunger to the Hunslet pack.
Wilson, a former Beverley Braves junior, has earned a reputation as a highly dependable, hard-working forward who thrives on setting a physical platform down the middle of the field to get his team playing on the front foot.
Speaking on the signing, Hunslet Head Coach Kyle Trout said: “Will is a great acquisition for us. He’s got a great rugby league pedigree, a brilliant engine, and he brings exactly the kind of size and aggressive ‘go-forward’ that we need in our pack.
“He’s hungry to prove himself at the senior level, and we are excited to see him develop here at South Leeds Stadium over the next 12 months.”
