Following last week’s announcement of the new partnership between the Club and The Hunslet Club, Community Director Phil Hodgson and the Hunslet Club’s Sports Manager Chris Boyce attended an RFL Foundations Workshop at Stanningley ARLFC.

Phil commented “I’ve attended a few of these workshops which have representatives there from most professional clubs.  It is great to hear what they are doing in the community to pick up ideas and best practices.”

Phil continued “As much as it pains me, I’d like to congratulate the Rhinos for being named Foundation of the Year. Joking aside, it is a well deserved achievement and Sam Horner and the Foundation team have been really supportive of us over the last 12 months, particularly raising our profile through the North v South Series.”

“For the game to progress clubs have to work together and the RFL are working hard to facilitate this. For our part, bringing Chris and the Hunslet Club into the fold, with their track record of delivery, can only benefit the game.”
