Following our magnificent performance in securing Play-Off Final victory at Keighley, we now move on to our final game of the season in a mouth watering promotion play-off on Sunday night at Swinton. It will be another tough challenge for the team but one which they will rightly approach with confidence.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your magnificent support this season. It really is appreciated and definitely inspires the players. We need you to turn up in numbers again on Sunday and I’d encourage everyone who can to get along to the game. For those wishing to book on the supporters coach, please contact Steve Beck on 07834410435

The cost will be just ยฃ15. The coaches will leave the stadium at 5.15pm. Tickets can be purchased here

In advance of the coach departures we will be opening the Dugout Bar from 3.00pm as the Phoenix is being used by Dean and the team from 3.00pm until 4.00pm for a final meeting before the game. There will also be an opportunity for fans to have their photos taken with the Grand Final Trophy.

Regarding the 7.30pm kick off time on Sunday, there are two factors. Firstly, Swinton play at a multi sports stadium like us. So, we did look at playing on Saturday, but unfortunately Sale FC are at home. There is also an event booked in on Sunday that won’t finish until mid afternoon. Secondly, the Sportsman is once again livestreaming the game but they are also livestreaming the Wheelchair Grand Final in the afternoon and didn’t want a clash. So, 7.30pm was the only viable option.

Whilst we don’t make any money from the live stream, it does give excellent exposure to the Club and our sponsors. As an example almost 15000 streamed last week’s game at Keighley. We will, however gain income from opening our stadium bars in advance of the Coach departures and from the shared gate.

Come on the Huns!
