Just as pleasing as it has been to retain most of the playing squad for 2021 the Club have been given another timely boost with our long time sponsor the Bartlett Group committing for another season.
The Bartlett Group provides financial solutions for businesses and individuals alike and know better than most the impact Covid is having on the economy at present.
The Group’s Chairman, Michael Bartlett, commented:
“The Bartlett family’s roots with Hunslet are deep, and I have many fond memories of Parkside. Although the three-year term of our previous sponsorship agreement had expired, we are delighted to extend the arrangement for a further twelve months in what are challenging times for everyone”.
Hunslet Chairman Kenny Sykes said “Michael’s Dad, Fred, was born in Hunslet and served on the Board in the 1940s and 50s. It is great his family are still playing a part in our future some 70 years later. We are extremely appreciative of their support”.
Kenny presented Ian Roberts from Bartlett with a framed photo of Fred from his Hunslet days. Ian said “We are really pleased to be backing Hunslet again in 2021. Like everyone else, I’m looking forward to getting down to the South Leeds Stadium for what promises to be an exciting season”.
