Hunslet Vice Chair Fiona Galloway has decided to step down with immediate effect due to personal reasons.
Fiona said: “It has been an immense privilege to have been Hunslet’s vice chair, and I’d like to thank the Board for the opportunity.
I will continue to volunteer at Hunslet, and will be in the stands cheering on Dean and the team.”
Chairman Kenny Sykes responded: “Fiona has been a great support to me as Chair and will be a big loss from the Boardroom, where she has made a valuable contribution and never shied away from making a challenge.
I’m really pleased that she will still be around on match days running our membership desk which was her innovation and has been very popular.
As mentioned at the AGM, we are looking to introduce a revised Board model and we will hopefully be in a position to share that with our members shortly.”
