Friday 16th June will see former Hunslet players and supporters meet for our first annual golf day.
Playing at Normanton golf course, Hatfield Hall. Golf in Yorkshire rarely gets better. Set within 145 acres of glorious Yorkshire countryside, with streams and lakes to add a little spice, each hole presents its own challenge to both high and low handicappers, and with a practice ground, clubhouse and a superb golf shop – it’s the perfect place to enjoy golf in Yorkshire. Designed by Patrick Dawson, the architect of some of the holes on the famous Augusta National course in America, it offers a true test of golfing ability and with the ninth hole returning to the clubhouse it makes NGC appealing to societies and visiting parties wanting to play 27 holes.
Confirmed former players include, Gareth Naylor, Ben Wykman, Tote Howcroft, Ben Skerret, Dave Jessey and Craig Booth among others!
The day will consist of:
- Coffee and bacon rolls on arrival
- 18 holes of golf
- Two course meal after
Prizes for longest drive, nearest pin & a wooden spoon will be presented afterwards before moving onto the Oulton Raiders clubhouse for further refreshments and a fund raising auction.
All this for an entry fee of £55
