Hunslet Hawks RLFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Flynn to join the community team. Martin has a wealth of experience in rugby league, beginning with his time organising Rugby League in schools in Scarborough before moving on to join the Rugby Football Leagues Community Development team. Martin will have overall control of the Hawks Community Programme and we are sure that he will make a tremendously beneficial influence on promoting the Hawks in the Community.
Chairman Neil Hampshire said “It’s a major coup for us to bring an individual of Martin’s stature and experience to the Hawks and that serves as an indication of how highly our profile has risen in the local community in the last couple of years. Martin will be a key player in taking us to the next level and on behalf of everyone associated with the Club I wish him a warm welcome into the Hunslet Family.โ
Flynn commenced his role at the club yesterday and commented “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to join the back room team at Hunslet Hawks. The directors and staff have a really progressive attitude which bodes well for the future of the club. I look forward to helping the Hawks enhance their place as an integral part of both the Rugby League community and South Leeds Community life.”
