Doreen Thorpe had a surprise when husband Brian handed a cheque to her across the kitchen table.
Doreen has been a member of the Hunslet Hawks Lifeline Lottery for more years than she probably cares to remember but she received a nice surprise when her agent for the lottery, who also doubles as her husband, handed over the cheque for £500.
Doreen was very pleased, “We are going on holiday in a couple of weeks time and this will come in very handy”.
