Hunslet RLFC are delighted to announce the signing of former Super League forward Eddie Battye.

Eddie, 34 arrives from Sheffield Eagles where he made over 100 appearances across two successful spells.

Battye, initially came through the Eagles ranks in the early 2010s. He moved to the capital where he had a five-year stint with London Broncos during which he played over 100 times, including game time in Super League. He moved back north to Join Wakefield in 2021, where he made 75 appearances for Trinity across a three-year spell in Super League.

The exciting prop, who carries hard, and has great feet made his 300^th career appearance during the 2025 Championship season, just highlighting the experience he will bring to a young Hunslet squad in 2026.
