A try on 70 minutes by Connor Squires, with Jamie Fields adding his third goal, helped HUNSLET CLUB PARKSIDE to a 22-18 Premier Division win at a Rochdale Mayfield outfit that had bounced back 16-2 down to establish a two-point lead.
STANNINGLEY are the new Division One leaders, thanks to a victory at Featherstone Lions – and defeat for previous table-toppers Oulton Raider at Kells. Featherstone were 18-12 in front at the interval but Stanningley prevailed 36-22 courtesy of tries by Josh Adams, Joe Phipps, Ethan Davison, Nathan Simpson, Dean Parker and Jamaine Ruan, each of which Ben Selby converted.
OULTON RAIDERS, meanwhile, were 24-0 behind against Kells before Keiron Walpole converted tries by Craig Wright, Nathan Waters and Ryan Sandham in a 38-18 reverse.
Tries in the second half by Jordan Gale and Dale Bateson, plus two Jordan Gales goals, helped HUNSLET WARRIORS recover from 4-0 down at the interval against visitors Wigan St Judes to prevail 12-4 in Division Two. And Division Three leaders EAST LEEDS won 34-12 at Leigh East, thanks to tries by James Duckworth (2), Nathan Conroy, Andy Djeukessi, Moris Kamano and Lucas Riley; Tommy Milburn (4) and Conroy landed the goals.
Also in the bottom tier, DRIGHLINGTON eased past Millom 70-34. Joe Sheldon scored a hat-trick for the hosts, Declan Brereton bagged a brace and other touchdowns went to Lucas Hallas, Kieran Roche, Ryan Wilks, Cain Crotty, Kieran Bolton, Sam Thornton and Ethan Hallas. Kieran Roche kicked eleven goals.
