National Conference League title aspirants HUNSLET CLUB PARKSIDE remain hot on the heels of Premier Division leaders West Hull, courtesy of a 40-0 victory over Thornhill Trojans in which Omar Alrawi bagged a brace, with Andy Hullock contributing a try and six goals and Connor Squires, Will Cohen, Casey Canterbury and Jake Dearden racing over in a seventh successive win.
OULTON RAIDERS knocked Hull Dockers off the top of Division One, and boosted their own promotion ambitions, with a 30-22 verdict after having trailed 16-6 at lemons-time. Craig Wright bagged a brace for the Raiders, Nathan Waters, Leon Rymer and Dec Storey dotted down, and Kieron Walpole landed five goals. STANNINGLEY, though, lost 17-10 at Skirlaugh, despite a try and a goal by Dean Parker and a touchdown for Daniel Barcoe.
HUNSLET WARRIORS were never in the hunt against Division Two promotion-chasers Clock Face Miners and were 39 points behind before posting a late Tyler Dargan try in a 39-4 reverse.
Division Three title favourites EAST LEEDS, though, put the previous weekโs defeat at Oldham St Annes behind them with a 28-8 victory at Millom earned through a Shane Plunkett brace, tries for Ryan Wooffitt, Ciaren Edwards and Tommy Milburn, and four Luke Littlewood goals.
There was disappointment for DRIGHLINGTON, however, in a 24-16 defeat at Shaw Cross, who were 24-10 ahead deep into the second half. Kieran Roche scored a try and two goals for Drig, with Tom Pickles and Lucas Hallas also crossing.
