The club in conjunction with the South Leeds Academy have run a competition for Mrs Robinson’s Year 10 pupils to design the Hawks home kit for 2016. Around 30 pupils have taken part in the competition.

The aim of the competition was to help drive awareness of the club in the school whilst allowing the pupils the opportunity to take part in a great innovative project which will see the winning design become the Hawks home kit in 2016.

The school have selected six designs which have now been sent to our kit manufacturers Stag to create mock ups. The final six shortlisted designs will now be put out to a public vote, with the winning design becoming the Hawks home shirt for our Kingstone Press League 1 campaign.

Hawks Community Director Peter Todd said β€œThe Hawks are keen to extend our existing partnership with the South Leeds Academy and so we are grateful for the cooperation of Mr Askham and Mrs Robinson in promoting this design work.”

“The designer of the winning entry will be invited to meet the players at the official Kit Launch, along with the runners up in the competition. We are also planning further collaborative work with the Academy, which we hope to announce in the near future.”
