Hunslet Hawks are delighted to announce the appointment of successful local businessman and former Club sponsor Colin Smith as their new CEO. Colin was appointed formally at a Board meeting on 16 December and will fill the role on a provisional basis pending formal elections in March.
Chairman Neil Hampshire said “For some time the Board has been under resourced meaning several of us have had to double up on roles and as volunteers with full time roles elsewhere, we unfortunately can’t devote enough time to cover everything. Both myself and Darren Williams have held the CEO reins but I’m really pleased to be passing them on to someone of Colin’s undoubted calibre and experience. I’m certain he will be instrumental in growing the business side of the Club to take us to the next level”
