Bank Holiday Sunday (24th May) will see the Hunslet Hawks Dance Academy take part in the Summer Bash dance programme.
One hundred and sixty young people will travel from across Yorkshire for a day out in Blackpool and the chance to support their clubs at Bloomfield Road. Boys and girls from the age of 6 to 17 years old have been rehearsing for the past month and will perform together for the first time at half-time of the Doncaster RLFC v Hunslet Hawks match.
Performing at the event are young people from; Club Doncaster Foundation, Hunslet Rugby Foundation and Featherstone Rovers Foundation.
The Hunslet Hawks Dance Academy was established in 2011 to offer the young people of South Leeds weekly dance sessions at an affordable rates. The Academy fund everything that they do themselves, and their outstanding fund raising efforts have enabled them to travel to Blackpool and support their team and showcase their talents in front of thousands of people.
