The club is saddened to hear the news that former player from the Parkside era, Louis Artis sadly passed away on Friday.
Louis signed professional forms and played for the first team as a 16 year old boy which was highlighted in the local press at that time, suggesting he hadย an international future and the great Geoff Gunney also signed on the same day.
International honours and an extended club career ended for Louis when he lost 4 fingers in a terrible accident at John Waddingtons on the guillotine machine.
