As part of the clubs new partnership with Notre Dame College, current Hawks star & former Notre Dame student Luke Stenchion went back to meet his former college tutor, Scott Broadley now Head of Sport.

Luke also met with some of the BTEC sport students in the gym and gave them some training advice as well as talking them through his story of how he progressed from the college to become a semi professional Rugby League Player.

Luke commented “It was great to get the invite to go back and meet some old friends, especially Scott. I have not being to the college for over ten years, so it brought back some happy memories for me. I hope the students enjoyed the training session and got some insight into some of the training we do as semi professional players.”

Head of Sport Scott Broadley “When i heard we had the chance to welcome Luke back to the college, i jumped at the chance, it’s always nice to see ex students come back to visit us. The students certainly enjoyed the day and we thank Luke & the Hawks for taking the time to join us.
