Hunslet’s renowned Breakfast Club will be up and running again later this month.
The popular get-together, at which current and former players and coaches gather with fans for grub and a chinwag, will next take place on Friday 18 September at the usual venue, the Phoenix Bar at the South Leeds Stadium.
Organiser Peter Jarvis says: “As always, a bacon or sausage buttie costs just a couple of quid, with as much tea or coffee as you can drink thrown in.”
The doors open at 10.00am, with convivialities continuing until lunchtime.
Entry is, because of Covid-19 requirements, now via the emergency exit doors leading from the Phoenix Bar onto the South Leeds Stadium car park. “We are sticking closely to government guidance,” confirms Jarvo.
