HUNSLET’S fans are, like supporters of other clubs, regular and avid listeners to Radio Leeds, which has long provided excellent coverage of Rugby League.
But the Parksiders’ faithful are likely to tune in in bigger numbers this evening (Wednesday 26 April) when hugely popular fullback Jimmy Watson will be the special guest of renowned presenter James Deighton.
Jimmy, who is celebrating his testimonial season, has been invited onto JD’s programme to reflect on a decade of superb service with the Parksiders, a real highlight being the sensational Championship Grand Final success over Oldham at Headingley in 2014. And he will be looking ahead to his benefit match this Saturday (29 April, 1.00pm) when crack Impact Performance National Conference League outfit Drighlington will provide the opposition on what will be a festival day for all the family.
The show will be aired from 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
