In the modern era testimonials are few and far between as players move from club to club with greater frequency than in years gone by. We are extremely fortunate at Hunslet to have a player in our ranks whose performances could have allowed him to play at a much higher level but whose unbreakable commitment to the myrtle, white and flame continues to see him wear our colours with pride.ย  That player is of course Jimmy Watson and we are delighted that 2023 will allow Hunslet supporters and the rugby league family to celebrate and reward 10 years of blood, sweat and tears from one of our own.

Various events are planned for the next 12 months including a testimonial game, Race Night and Dinner. We are launching the celebrations with a Christmas Raffle with a fantastic first prize of 2 hospitality tickets to next yearโ€™s Challenge Cup Final or Grand Final courtesy of the RFL. The closing date to buy tickets is Sunday 18th December 2022 and the draw will take place on Monday 19th December.
