Hunslet CEO Martin Flynn is to step down from his current role at the end of the month.

Club Chairman Neil Hampshire said “Martin and I sat down last week and he expressed his desire to move on to new challenges and opportunities.

“Martin’s departure will allow us to take stock of the CEO role and perhaps look to place more emphasis on the commercial side of the business.

“We’ll now take time to work that option through before we seek a successor.

Neil went on to say “Martin has been an integral part of the management team here at Hunslet and has implemented some strong structures and processes on the administration side during his time with us that have given the club greater stability.

“He leaves with our thanks and best wishes for the future.”
