The 2022 National Conference League season gets underway tomorrow (Saturday 5 March) when the six teams in South of the River territory will all be aiming to get off to winning starts.
Two – East Leeds and Drighlington – go head-to-head in Division Three, while Hunslet Club Parkside (who did themselves, the area and the amateur game as a whole proud before slipping to Betfred Championship outfit Sheffield Eagles 40-20 last Sunday in a pulsating Betfred Challenge Cup tie at the South Leeds Stadium), travel to Cumbria’s Egremont Rangers in the Premier Division.
Oulton Raiders, meanwhile, cross the city of Leeds to take on Milford in Division One and, in the same section, Stanningley are at West Bowling.
Meanwhile, Hunslet Warriors entertain Beverley in Division Two.
South of the River will feature round-ups and fixtures throughout the campaign.
