National Conference League bosses are to advise, once their inquiries have been completed, whether the result of Saturday’s Premier Division fixture between HUNSLET CLUB PARKSIDE and Lock Lane is to stand.

The match was abandoned in the second period by referee Mark Clayton, who allegedly cited fears for his on-field safety, at a stage when Parkside were 16-6 ahead.

STANNINGLEY, meanwhile, maintained their push for promotion from Division One with a 16-14 win at Myton Warriors, who briefly threatened to thwart the visitors with a converted try five minutes from time. The visitors had established their healthy position through tries by Dylan Wepenar, Daniel Barcoe and Jumel Henry, two of which Ryan Taylor improved.

OULTON, though, lost 32-12 at a Skirlaugh outfit that had led 18-0 late in the first half. The Raiders’ response involved tries by Greg Coleridge, Dave Jagger and Adrian Holdsworth.

There was no joy, either, for HUNSLET WARRIORS in Division Two, hosts Dewsbury Celtic prevailing 38-6. The Warriors’ Josh McLelland improved Dale Bateson’s try.

Division Three leaders EAST LEEDS won 24-4 at Hensingham, posting two tries by Andy Djeukessi and touchdowns by Josh Longbottom, Ajay Wilson and Ben Walkin; Tommy Milburn improved a couple of efforts.

Elsewhere, 15-man DRIGHLINGTON lost 60-0 at Oldham St Annes.
