The club is delighted to reveal our home kit design for the 2016 season.
Year 10 classes at South Leeds Academy were invited to submit a design for the Hunslet Hawks 2016 kit. Over 30 students entered and a short list of six designs were chosen to be displayed on the Hawks website with the general public then invited to vote for their favourite shirt.
After counting and verifying the votes we can now announce that the winning design, voted by the public, was designed by Lukas Vasiliauskas.
The new home shirt which will be in the famous myrtle, flame and white colours will once again be manufactured by Stag and will feature Lukas’ name on every shirt.
The club have also decided to use the design drawn by student Alisha Bell for our alternate kit in 2016 which will be in chocolate and white.
The home shirt will be in stock in time for the official kit launch, and it will be available to purchase on the night, with the price held again at £42. The away shirt will be shown for the first time also, with Alisha’s name featured.
All supporters are invited to the kit launch event, which takes place in the Phoenix Lounge on Thursday 17th December at 7:30 with no admission charge. Light refreshments will be served.
